The Beaumaris Lifeboat was called out as two men, the same two men who were rescued in the early hours of Monday 18th April drifting in a rowing boat without oars, had again called the Coastguard to say they were drifting in a small fishing boat near Beaumaris.
The Lifeboat was launched and the crew searched the waters off Beaumaris while the Coastguard maintained a search from the land and spotted the two men watching the Lifeboat’s search from a vantage place at Mountfield. The Police were then called who dealt with the matter and the Lifeboat returned to the station.
