July 29th 15:07 Menai Bridge

Call from the coastguard to assist a person in the water at Menai Bridge. Boat was launched and on arrival at the scene the casualty had been recovered into a boat from the local boatyard. The lifeboat accompanied the recovering boat to the shore and then returned to station.

July 24th 18.50 Menai Strait

Boat was launched at 18.50 to assist a 27ft yacht taking part in the round Anglesey race on the 24 July that was demasted and with a snapped shroud. RNLI crew assisted the boat crew to clear the rigging and then escorted it back to its home port of Conwy. Conwy RNLI were called out though to take over the escort.

July 23rd 13:56 THe Gazelle

An 83 year old male fell in the water while trying to board his yacht on its mooring off The Gazelle. He was in the water approximately 15 minutes before managing to get aboard helped by his wife. The lifeboat attended and a first aid qualified crew member checked out the casualty and found him to be uninjured but in view of his age, a paramedic was ferried out to the yacht for the man to be checked over more thoroughly. He was found to be well and so left aboard the vessel.

July 18th 19:54 Llanfairfechan

The lifeboat was called out to assist a windsurfer off Llanfairfechan, but as the crew arrived on scene the windsurfer had already reached the shore

July 18th 13:26 Fiars Bay

The lifeboat was called out to assist a windsurfer at Friars Bay. Arrived on scene to find there was no windsurfer but a dive boat with divers adrift. The lifeboat waited on scene until all divers were either ashore or back on the boat

The LIfeboat towed a 21 foot broken down boat at Friars Bay to Beaumaris
