31st October 06:29 Victoria Dock, Caernarfon‏

Holyhead Coastguard requested the Beaumaris Lifeboat stand by off Victoria Dock Caernarfon as a despondent male was on the dock wall. When the Lifeboat arrived the dock gates were still closed so a crew member was put ashore at the dock so as to be in a position to help should the casualty jump into the dock. Eventually a police negotiator persuaded the casualty, who it appeared had taken pills and alcohol, to get into an ambulance to be taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd.
