Service 9 - 14:34 18th April - Lleiniog

A 63 year old male walking the Anglesey coastal path in the vicinity of Lleiniog fell injuring his shoulder. The tide was rising and he was incapacitated by his injuries. He was able to use a mobile phone to ask for assistance and the Penmon coastguard team was tasked. The location was inaccessible by road so the lifeboat was requested to evacuate the casualty and transfer him to an ambulance.

The lifeboat attended, the casualty and his dog was taken aboard the lifeboat and the casualty was given First Aid by the lifeboat crew as he was brought back to the Beaumaris boathouse. Once back at the boathouse he was handed over to the ambulance and subsequently taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd.
