April 16th 16:30 Caernarfon Bar

The Beaumaris Lifeboat was called out for the second time in one day at 16.33 to respond to a 15ft fishing boat taking in water off Caernarfon Bar. The lifeboat crew assisted the RAF rescue helicopter winch the three crew off the fishing boat who were then taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd. The fishing boat sunk so the lifeboat worked with the coastguard to recover the boat and tow it into port.
