Holyhead Coastguard requested the Lifeboat launch to rescue two male kayakers stuck in the mud near Bangor Pier. Two of the four lifeboat crew walked out over the mud to help the kayakers carry their kayaks to the shore where they were given assistance by Bangor Coastguard. After the crew members rejoined at Menai Bridge, the Lifeboat proceeded back to the Beaumaris station.
