June 27th Caernarfon and the Menai Strait

The lifeboat was called out 19.25 when the crew were tasked with searching the water between Menai Bridge and Caernarfon for a 27 year old missing man. The missing man was eventually located and the crew were stood down. They were back at the station, refuelled and ready for active service at 22.25.

A second call out was at 15.30. A boat had come off its mooring at Beaumaris and was on the sandbanks opposite Friars Bay. The crew attempted to reach the boat but with a rapidly falling tide were unable to so returned to the station at 16.05.
